4 essential musts for Kansas City Web developers and UX designers
The secrets to UX/UI in regards to converting passersby into clients is simple.
Takes effort to pinpoint what might be wrong, and takes time to fix it.
Here are four steps to unlocking the potential of your website.
1. Simplicity
Keeping people comfortable when using the site is imperative. When users have to figure out how to use the site instead of spending the time pressing the buttons you want them to press, there is a design flaw. We scroll down, we look to the top left first, we click on colored boxes or colored texts. If the customer is familiar using your Kansas City Web Design, they will traverse it quick and easily.
2. Site Speed
We live in the age where split seconds seem like milleniums have past. How fast does your site load? The quicker your site loads, the better the visitor will feel. How many of us have waited 3 seconds for the page to load, left it without even seeing if the page had the answer we were looking for, because it just took too long? We have all been guilty of this. We have to encourage the scroll if what the person wants is not directly in front of them. As long as something pops up, there is no point in backing out and choosing another option, when the answer just may be below the fold.
3. TL;DR
How much body copy are you putting in your pages? Are you doing so to rank well for Kansas City SEO? Why are you making people read three paragraphs that summarize what one sentence could do? Customers are scanners until that specially designed area catches our attention. It doesn’t mean that every page should have lavish photos. It means that customers are looking for what they are looking for, information. Give them the answers easily, and they will remember you for it.
4. Experiment
The last bit is to know that not every website is the same, and not every customer visiting the site is the same. Implementing a/b testing and gaining real insights into your site users will begin to give you the edge you have been looking for. No one web designer has a specific formula that works perfectly for everyone. No one web developer can construct a perfect user experience. Yet through trial and error, achievements can be made that benefit both designers, developers, and users.

If you're a small business and need a new website or need to update an old one, this is the company for you! You get... lots of support from real people you can actually talk to in real time as the project progresses. As someone who's not very tech savvy, nor especially wants to be, I couldn't imagine having a better experience with creating my new website than with KC Web Specialists! Who is the crazy competitor who left a weird review is what I want to know 2 year's ago? I would HIGHLY view that as... 'suspect" -based on my own companies dealings with them and Chris. I am very concerned about all the 5 star feedback.I was in the process of writing unfavorable feedback and they tried... to offer discounts. I did not accept this. Rather, I am going to state the honest truth. Other businesses need to know. You set aside a certain budget for web development and you think you are going to stay within that budget. Not a chance. I blew my budget beyond belief. They were "nickling and diming" me. I had no choice as I already paid a large deposit. Please continue reading this feedback.Right away we had problems with the website after it went live. From the website functions, to email, links, etc. The cost of not having a fully functional website as promised cost us dearly. After the site went live, they referred me to their technical support team. In some cases, I would email very simple yes/no questions. One liners that were truly yes/no questions. For their technical team to respond, they charged me a minimum of 15-30 minutes at $80-$90/hour. Well over $150k a year. "It takes time for them to investigate"...I was told. Anytime I would ask questions regarding issues...and I had plenty as there were so many things wrong with the website that should have been fixed prior to my site going live, I was being charged $80-$90/hour. Usually it was a lot more than that. When it was all said and done...and after all the "technical support" fees, I would have been much better off going with a more expensive web developer.Not to mention the thousands of dollars it cost my company a partial website.This is the honest feedback.....other businesses NEED TO know. They will likely try to contact me to remove this post but I shall not. Small mom and pop shops need to know. Small businesses need to know that have limited budgets.Having said this, I ask that KC Web specialist NOT contact me in anyway shape or form. It will be reported. I will not remove this feedback even if you offer a full refund. Absolutely not. Again, I am asking that you not reach out to me or all my business partners.read more
