August 26th Development Meeting

Talked about Eve Pure Oil and several things that need to be addressed to make it look better on the mobile site. JoBeth brought up the issues in a meeting she and I had earlier in the week. Addressed the issues and suggested that Sean make sure to check the responsiveness of sites as he builds the betas.

Discussed ClaimJockey as a new site I’m making live today. The highlight to be used for the blog will be that we can integrate existing functions in to the new site, like we did with ClaimJockey’s live chat plugin.

We discussed the new image compression plugin and played with it, which led us to discover that 500 free images isn’t necessarily true. We reviewed Imaging Expressions as we think this plugin could help the site’s page load time. The thought of having this plugin be applied on all sites that are using our Managed Services packages was brought up. I think it’s a good idea and the plugin will optimize images that are already in the media library so it’s not like we’d have to re-upload all images.

Everyone on the team at KC Web Specialists is skilled, caring, responsive and responsible. They did an awesome job creating our website (gcath.org) and answered probably 1,000 questions we had. KC Web Specialists have it together. Period. I am President of a Kansas non-profit and we recently had their team work with us to create a new website. Every step of the process was a positive experience. Everyone was timely, professional, and thoroughly skilled at what they do.
