When Cirrus Link returned to KC Web Specialists, they were ready to completely modernize their website. As a long-time client, Cirrus Link wanted a design that better reflected its position as an industry leader in industrial connectivity and IoT innovation. They had already collaborated with an external designer who produced a full visual concept in Figma and asked our team to transform that concept into a fully functional, responsive WordPress website.

Translating Web Design Into a Live WordPress Build

Using the Beaver Builder page-builder framework, our team recreated the Figma design as faithfully as possible within the page builder’s capabilities. The goal was to achieve the same clean, modern layout and component flow while maintaining flexibility and long-term manageability for Cirrus Link’s in-house team.

One of the more unique challenges involved the project’s custom iconography. The designer had created a complete icon set specifically for the new branding. We exported those icons from Figma as SVG files, then converted them into a custom font family that could be imported into Beaver Builder. This allowed the icons to be easily selected and styled within different modules, ensuring a consistent visual language across the site while remaining simple to maintain.

Streamlined Migration and Data Handling

Because Cirrus Link’s existing website contained years of technical content—blogs, white papers, and other custom post types—it was important to migrate all of that material efficiently. To accomplish this, the client purchased the WP All Import & Export plugin. Using that tool, we successfully exported and re-imported all structured content, including related files and media, into the new environment.

This approach provided a smooth, accurate data transfer that preserved URLs, images, and relationships between content types, allowing the new site to launch cleanly with no disruptions or data loss.

Enhanced Functionality

In addition to rebuilding the site visually, we implemented several new features to improve user experience and lead generation. Cirrus Link wanted certain white papers to require visitors to fill out a pop-up form before downloading, creating a valuable opportunity to capture leads while still providing quick access to resources. We integrated this gated-content feature seamlessly into the new layout.

Each custom post type, including blogs and resource pages, was updated to match the new design standards and to be easy for the client’s staff to manage going forward. The end result is a more cohesive, intuitive structure that supports both the marketing and technical sides of Cirrus Link’s business.

Training and Collaboration

After completing the initial page templates, our team hosted a Zoom training session with Cirrus Link and their designer. We reviewed how each template worked, demonstrated the Beaver Builder interface, and trained them on creating and managing pages in the new system.

Following the training, the Cirrus Link team populated the remaining pages, added their updated content, and reviewed the full site. Once all revisions were submitted, we finalized styling adjustments, verified responsive layouts, and completed final quality checks before publishing.

Results

The finished website launched on time and within budget, representing a major upgrade from Cirrus Link’s previous platform. It features a fresh, modern design; an improved user experience; and simplified internal content management. The combination of a professional visual overhaul, streamlined structure, and user-friendly backend gave the client a future-proof website that better communicates their expertise and supports ongoing growth.
