Don’t Get Caught By A Website ADA Tester

There are these people out there called “Testers”.  Their true passion in life is to scrub all Business Websites looking for the one’s without a Website Accessibility Policy. They are impassioned to find Business Websites with glaring accessibility errors. They truly feel they are doing a service to the world.

 
But, if these testers find accessibility faults with your Website, it’s too late. They don’t contact you out of the goodness of their hearts and say “hey, we found these issues, please fix them”. No, their next step is to file a “Federal complaint against your business.” At that point, the cost in attorney fees, yours and there’s, plus an out of court settlement amount $$$$ “Will” run you in the $,$$$ thousands, if not $$,$$$ ten’s of thousands of dollars. Fixing things “after” you’ve been filed against will not make it go away.
You options are, do nothing now, and hope these testers don’t find you. Everyone on the team at KC Web Specialists is skilled, caring, responsive and responsible. They did an awesome job creating our website (gcath.org) and answered probably 1,000 questions we had.
