A new responsive web design has hit the streets of Kansas City. Or should we say the lawns? SSS Lawn and Tree have been serving the Kansas City community while putting a smile on their clients faces. They put a smile on our face when then contracted us to service their website. The old website was not responsive, nor did it have a mobile design. Google knew this, and as a result, the website was not in the listing when searched on a mobile device. In an effort to get back into the good graces of Google, SSS Lawn and Tree asked us for a new responsive web design with SEO services.

The mobile aspect was simply to be able to move around the website easily, choose the services the user wanted, contact for services, and pay bill online, with just the thumbs if need be. The client was amazing to work with, always offering her ideas. A couple cups of coffee later, we were all buzzing with colors, images, spaces, UX possibilities. The responsive was relentless tested to ensure that no matter the pixel width, the experience would share a common sense of ease.

What is special about this website in particular is that the client uses authorize.net, and wanted to allow their clients to pay online. Initially the setup was for Paypal. We made a form where the user could put in an invoice number, amount to pay, submit and be transferred to Paypal with all the information sent. With authorize.net, we incorporated their software with WordPress, complete with an amount to pay, where a credit card could be used.
